We have for years been pleased to work for these clients who have become friends.

We have refurbished a lot of spaces in their wonderful villa nestling on the upper reaches of Beauvallon in Grimaud and enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view of the Saint-Tropez bay.

As years went by, they had the opportunity to acquire a flat magnificently located on the upper reaches of the California area in Cannes.

These clients being aesthetes – especially Madam who paints sublime canvasses – wished we could improve the design of this flat which had a beautiful surface area as well as a vast terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and in the foreground a hundred-year-old park of several hectares.

We improved the hall by creating a console with a mirror, a cupboard for shoes and back-lit shelves. We also made the most of the space of guest toilets, designed a little wine cabinet in the dressing area and enhanced the paintings according to their tonality and size thanks to appropriate lighting.

We also had to optimize the storage units in the kitchen, invent new additional ones in harmony with the existing ones in the television area in the living room, reprocess the table in the dining room and improve all the bathroom or shower rooms.

Being a music lover and insatiable reader, the master of the house dreamt of a vast space with a bookcase up to his expectations, including metres of shelves with all sorts of books, among which collectors ones, and a high-performance sound system along with a designer armchair where he would be comfortable to read.

Then, on top of that, we had to harmoniously include a desk with a printer, as well as a sofa bed to welcome guests. Photos very well show this startling metamorphosis of a bedroom into a reading area with back-lit shelves and this room is perfectly comfortable according to users.

For her part, Madam wished to partly use the third bedroom as a additional cupboard space with a big dressing area where she could put an ironing board and all the linen, as well as a desk.

All the furniture was achieved in harmony with the existing one, so that nobody could imagine is was not of the same making.

The flat which was already beautiful was eventually designed again according to our clients’ tastes and needs. So they could perfectly appropriate these spaces where everything is functional, pleasant to live in and furthermore near all that may be necessary for everyday life.

They could find the comfort of their villa again in a bright, warm and more densely equipped flat. It is the ideal place to spend automn and winter in a town, before the next spring in Grimaud.
