This young German couple just buy a little house situated in Port Grimaud which has never been looked after and requires a complete renovation.

These “high-tech” young executives are ready to put a lot into this project and they have a strategy and, a limited budget. Their goal is to be able to enjoy spending a few weeks in the house with their small family as well as to achieve a return on their investment with rental profitability. They will themselves manage their website to rent the house and their circle of friends will be their future tenants. It is a real pleasure to work with dynamic people who are bursting with ideas and energy!

We must therefore transform this space with holiday rental in mind and in a marine spirit that has to be full of light, easy to clean, sturdy but elegant. We must make the most of the surfaces & design a large open-plan kitchen with a dining area, as well as a friendly living and TV room, which opens onto a terrace with partition windows. Install compact and functional shower rooms, plenty of cupboard space, a mezzanine floor to add some bedding and install reversible air conditioning.

Special care was given to the terrace on the side of the canal where a little boat will be moored; we designed a dining area outside, a shed for more storage, an exterior shower for when they come back from the beach, a few plants well selected for their southern characteristics and a wooden fence for the children’s security.

The aim has been achieved as tenants battle so much to book this friendly place that it is difficult for the owners to reserve it for themselves! So on top of being a beautiful human adventure … it is a commercial success!
